Chair Pilates delivers the mind-body benefits of traditional Pilates in a modified format.

What is Chair Pilates and how does it work?

Chair Pilates is ideal for older adults, beginners, people with limited mobility, or anyone recovering from injury. It’s also perfect for those who find it difficult to get on and off the floor but still want to experience the benefits of Pilates.

Chair Pilates helps improve core strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. It’s low-impact and gentle on the joints, making it an excellent option for maintaining mobility and reducing stiffness.

No previous Pilates experience is required. At The Edge Pilates, our Chair Pilates classes are designed with your needs and fitness levels in mind. You will be provided with expert guidance throughout the sessions.

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. You don’t need special equipment, just bring a water bottle. We provide all necessary props and chairs used during the session.
